Sir Puka Temu will pass the baton of his Our Development Party to the interim Treasury, Education and Police Minister Charles Abel.

Both of them were former members of People's National Congress party.
They are recruiting MPs and are building the party to go into the General Elections in three years' time.
Other MPs who are joining them are Goroka MP Henery Ame, Gulf Governor Chris Haiveta, Ijivitari MP Richard Masere, Abau and Milne Governor John Luke Crittin.
Haiveta is now leading the PNG Country Party.
